3 Simple Yet Powerful Tricks In Mastering Chinese Metaphysics Fast

My Journey To Mastery

It was back in 2001 when I embarked on my personal development journey. With over two decades dedicated to growth and an investment exceeding US$300,000 in personal development, spiritual studies, and Chinese Metaphysics, I have explored vast terrains of knowledge and practice.

This journey has been more than just an academic pursuit; it’s been a life-changing adventure that has kept me vibrant, positive, and perpetually young at heart.

My passion for learning and growth has been the driving force behind my continuous hustle in life. As humans, I strongly advocate for continuous growth in all aspects of life – physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. The moment we stop evolving, we begin to decline and, ultimately, die.

When I first started learning about 25 years ago, I didn't have any system in place. I simply absorbed as much information as I could. I would grab any available books, read them thoroughly, and digest everything.

I invested money in any seminar that piqued my interest and attended without hesitation. I purchased numerous home study courses, and those were the days of cassette tapes and DVDs, which formed the basis of my early learning experiences.

Over time, however, I developed a systematic approach that not only facilitated rapid learning but also ensured that I could apply what I learned effectively, leading to significant personal and professional success.

These insights have led to millions in sales for me, and now I'm excited to share them with you.

Trick #1: Create a Personal Learning System

Everyone's learning modalities are different, and it's crucial to understand which are your dominant learning styles. The commonly accepted learning modalities are Visual, Auditory, Reading/Writing, and Kinesthetic. The first step is to identify which methods allow you to learn the fastest and focus on those.

Personally, my preferred learning methods have evolved over time. In the past, I loved attending live seminars and events. I would bring notebooks with colored pens and create my own notes, filled with keywords and mind maps to help me understand and retain information better and faster.

During the pandemic, Zoom learning became popular, and I found myself enjoying this new format. With two screens – one for the live event and another for note-taking – I could quickly capture slides and type out key points as the trainer shared them.

It's essential to develop your own personal learning system. I've met people who write down every single word a trainer says, while others listen intently without taking any notes at all. There's no right or wrong approach – it's about finding what works best for you.

Trick #2: Summarize Key Action Points

Just Do It

This is one of the critical steps that set my approach apart. Right after attending a class or training, usually within a week, I make it a priority to revise my notes. For multi-day seminars, I would review my notes every night before sleep to anchor the key points taught that day.

After the entire event, I dedicate another 1-2 hours to go through all the notes once again. This time, I focus on summarizing the key action points taught in the class. It would be a total waste of money, effort, and time to attend a training without taking any concrete actions afterward.

I've observed this happening to thousands of seminar junkies over the last two decades. For many, attending a seminar is like going to a concert or shopping – they get an adrenaline rush and feel high, but they don't make significant changes or focus on what they truly want. This pattern has unfortunately given the training industry a bad reputation. I believe it's my full responsibility to ensure that I learn and learn well.

To combat this, I create a separate document called "action points." This summarizes all the key takeaways from the event and, most importantly, outlines three key actions I will implement in my life RIGHT NOW – not tomorrow, not next month, and certainly not next year.

These action points are typically simple tasks that I can apply to my life immediately, often taking only an extra 5-10 minutes per day. If an action is too difficult to implement, I know I'll find excuses not to do it, rendering my efforts futile.

Remember, action is key.

You can learn all you want in life, but unless you take action, you won't see results. A common mistake many people make is trying to know everything. It's impossible to learn every technical aspect of QiMen, BaZi, and FengShui – the subjects are far too vast. Instead, focus on mastering the key foundations and essential points first, especially if you're a beginner, and then work your way towards mastery.

In FengShui Period 9, I often emphasized that information is trash, but wisdom is king. It's no longer about how much information you accumulate in the next 20 years; it's about HOW you apply the information given to you that yields results.

Trick #3: Kaizen Your Life

Kaizen Your Life

Kaizen is a Japanese term meaning "change for the better" or "continuous improvement." I discovered this concept about ten years ago, and it has transformed my life. As someone who despises doing the same things repeatedly and getting the same results, the principle of Kaizen resonated deeply with me.

Since embracing Kaizen, I'm constantly looking for ways to do things better and more efficiently. The key here is efficiency that leads to productivity. We all have 24 hours in a day, and what we do with that time matters immensely.

Let me share a personal example of how I apply Kaizen to my life. I fly quite regularly for work, often taking short trips to Malaysian cities like Kuala Lumpur or Penang. I prefer flying with AirAsia, and initially, I had the typical budget airline passenger mentality – not paying for extras like checked luggage or seat selection.

However, I realized that this approach was costing me valuable time. It would take an extra hour to board and disembark the plane, just in waiting time. So, I decided to experiment. I started buying hot seats, typically spending an extra $15 per way for a second-row seat.

The results were remarkable. I became one of the first to board, avoiding long queues. I could settle into my window seat early and use that time productively – reading a book, writing a video script, or answering messages. The entire boarding process usually takes about 30-45 minutes, which became productive time for me.

Upon landing, I'm among the first to leave the plane and reach the immigration counter, easily saving another 30 minutes compared to being the 125th person in the queue.

This Kaizen mentality has allowed me to accumulate an additional 60 minutes of productive work time whenever I travel. Assuming I fly ten times a year, that's an extra 600 minutes. If I use about 300 minutes (5 hours) to finish reading a book, I can easily read two extra books in a year just by optimizing my travel time.

This approach to continuous improvement explains how successful individuals like Bill Gates manage to read 50 books per year despite their busy schedules.

Continuous Growth and Application

In conclusion, mastering complex subjects like Qi Men Dun Jia, BaZi, and FengShui doesn't have to be an insurmountable task. By creating a personal learning system, summarizing key action points, and embracing the principle of Kaizen, you can accelerate your learning and see tangible results in your life.

Remember, it's not just about accumulating knowledge – it's about applying that knowledge effectively and continuously improving your approach and transforming not just how you learn, but how you live.
