3 Secrets I Learned from Coaching QiMen & BaZi Students

Over the past five years, I've engaged in over 693 personal coaching sessions focused on QiMen and BaZi Destiny Charts. These one-on-one conversations have delved deep into personal issues, covering everything from financial struggles and relationships to health and emotional well-being.

Through these discussions, I’ve unearthed three profound secrets about life that have not only transformed the lives of my clients but also made me a better person and coach.

Here’s a look into these transformative insights and how they can positively impact your life.

Secret Number One: The Power of "Must" Over "Want"

It's a universal truth that everyone seeks a better life. We all aspire for improvement, whether in our personal or professional lives.

But if this desire is so prevalent, why isn't everyone living a life they've dreamed of?

The distinction lies in a single word: the difference between "want" and "must."

While "want" represents a preference or a desire, "must" embodies an imperative, a necessity that admits no negotiation.

The transition from 'want' to 'must' can transform the nebulous desire into concrete action.

For instance, at 22, I made a pivotal decision to become self-employed, which shifted my approach to personal health from a want to a must. This shift in perspective ensured I prioritized my health as a non-negotiable, recognizing that even a single day's illness could directly impact my livelihood. Over a decade later, this commitment has kept me in good stead, physically and professionally.

Understanding and applying this secret involves a simple yet challenging step: identifying your musts. These are commitments so critical that your life's quality, and often your life itself, depends on them.

Reflect on what you absolutely must have or achieve, and reframe your goals in these terms to create a powerful drive towards action.

Secret Number Two: The Troublemaker Within—Our Mind

Our Mind

Our mind, while essential for basic survival and everyday functioning, can also be our greatest enemy when it comes to making major life decisions.

It is naturally risk-averse, programmed to prioritize safety and minimize threat. However, this often means it can stifle our growth and hinder our decision-making with fear.

In contrast, our heart and gut are the seats of intuition and faith. They drive us towards our true desires and help us overcome obstacles.

In my QiMen Manifestation Masterclass, I emphasize two crucial 'F' words: Fear and Faith.

Our minds are governed by fear, while our hearts are guided by faith.

Making decisions from a place of faith rather than fear opens us up to a world of possibilities and allows us to navigate life with confidence and courage.

To harness the power of faith over fear, we must reconnect with our intuitive self, often dulled by over-reliance on logical reasoning and technology.

Encouraging intuition involves quieting the mind through practices like meditation, spending time in nature, or simply allowing ourselves to trust in our initial responses rather than overanalyzing every possibility.

Secret Number Three: The Value of Action Over Words

The Value of Action Over Words

In my coaching circles, I often remind my clients that "talk is cheap." It's easy to speak of intentions and boast of plans, but the real measure of one's character and capability is seen through their actions and results.

This principle has guided me not just in coaching but in life. The quiet dedication to achieving results speaks volumes more than loud declarations of intent.

Years ago, a student of mine loved to speak about her achievements and plans. She was vocal and confident, yet her actions did not align with her words. It became clear that her approach was not conducive to the type of genuine, result-oriented progress I advocate.

Consequently, I made the difficult decision to part ways with her as a client. This experience reinforced my belief in the importance of walking the talk.

True progress and achievement come from consistent, dedicated action—not from the noise we make.

Embrace them, and watch as the landscape of your life transforms, bringing you closer to realizing your dreams and living the life you've envisioned.
