Weekend Rambling Session…

12:28 am Weekend Rambling

I was thinking, since I do not really work over the weekend, and usually do not blog…

Why don’t I make use of the weekends, to make some rambling, talks about everything and anything under the sun, and also more of my personal thoughts, nothing to do with making money online…

… with that, I look forward to hear from you more!

I will also post all the rambling under Weekend Rambling category, so that you can just click and check out all the rambling post.

One thing I always did over the weekend is… I would go and visit my parents. I do not live with my parents. Since I was married 4 years back, got my own apartment, both myself and my wife moved out of our “comfy” and cosy home from our parents…

We “used” to think that living with our parents can be a bit inconvenient, especially as newly wed couples, we want to have “our world”

Oh man! Just after about 6 months of moving out and living on our own, I started to “think”, love and miss the lifestyle with my parents. (You know what I mean…?)

We need to clean, tidy, wash, and do all the chorus which our parents always did for us. (which was not known, or we did not “even” bother to know) Haha… shhh…

It’s ok! I do tell my mom every now and then, that we should have live with you after we get married. Sometimes it’s so tired after a week’s work, and we still need to clean our 1,100 square feet house. It’s not very big, but it’s big enough to make me “sweat”, tired, after the 2 hours cleaning.

Over the weekend, we would usually pack our bags, our laptops and stay overnight there. To us, it’s like a weekend retreat. So, usually weekends, we do not work, unless it’s urgent!

And what we enjoyed most is the chatting session with my mom, dad and brother. We would at least have dinners on Saturday nights, and sometimes even supper.

I’m really thankful and appreciate every weekend, as over the 3 years, the bonding between me and my parents grew closer. Most importantly, my wife was able to chat heartily with my mom and dad.

I do not know how many parents-in-laws could chat heartily, everything and anything under the sun with their daughters and son-in-laws. (I’m not saying this to “brag”, but to share with you that it’s possible)

If you are living with your parents, be thankful! I know I do NOW!

On a contrary, I still love living on our own.

Here’s what I have found:

1) I’m more mature thinking
2) I’m more Independent
3) I learn a lot more about myself
4) I need to think for myself, my wife and my house
5) Financially, I take 100% ownership of it (with paying mortgage, bills, and all expenses)
6) I do enjoy the world with my wife.
7) and many more…

Since this is the first week of rambling… let me show you my one of the first website that both my wife and myself set up for our wedding.

We got married in 2005, we registered for our marriage in 2004. In the Chinese culture, we need to go through the Chinese traditional wedding, before we are consider married in the “eyes” of parents and relatives.

So, there’s a gap of one year before we had our traditional wedding with all the tea-ceremony, dinners and etc…

Hope you enjoy my short rambling for this week!

This upcoming week, I have planned an outline what I want to post from Monday to Friday, so you will hear more from me…

Have a great weekend,
