Adam Ginsberg, Joel Christopher and Joe Girard was speaking during the 2nd day of National Achievers Congress 2008. It’s the day with all my favorite speakers, including T Harv Eker, however, I have written a lot of post about it. You can read it here…

All the 3 of them are my favorite and I’m going to spend some time sharing each and everyone what I have learn. So, this is going to be a pretty long post ever, but rest assured the journey will be great… are you ready?

The first speaker of the day is Joel Christopher. He’s well-known as the MasterListBuilder. He strongly believes that “Your Money is In Your List”, and “Your List is Your GoldMine!” I totally agree with him.

That’s why I’m actively building my list for the niche on “Making Money Online”. And I will post my results and also how I do it, shortly in a few weeks time.

Joel have a 3 steps system which I totally love. It’s so simple that a 6-years old could use it and make money. That’s what I called Useable system. And that’s what you’ll learn from me in my series of tips, strategies and secrets of making money online. Simple, Step-by-Step System…

Here’s Joel 3 steps system:

1) Connect
2) Collect
3) Convert

#1 - Connect

The first one is to Connect with your visitors. When your visitors comes to your site, you want to be able to connect with them. This part, he also mentioned the key to making money online, which is market research.

I personally use this tool called www.NicheBotClassic.com. He recommends www.Wordtracker.com and also www.Google.com/trends. Both are good tools too. Many a times, I research using Google trends too.

#2 - Collect

I believe this is one of the biggest obstacle for newbie. Driving traffic to your website. However, it’s really really simple, if you know how, or someone to show you step-by-step… right?

He talks about 2 ways to drive traffic, free and paid methods:

For free methods, he uses, Articles marketing, Videos, link directories, press release, joint venture, viral, blogs and social bookmarks.

For paid, he uses Pay Per Click, eZine, pay per subscribers and namecard.

After driving traffic to your website, then he talks about various kinds of capture page, pop-up websites and etc. These are various method you can capture subscribers.

#3 - Convert

To convert the subscribers to buyers, this is the 2nd biggest challenge to newbie. I feel that most newbie was too anxious, they keep sending out offers, till their subscribers run away. To me, giving value to my subscribers is my utmost importance. Earning your trust is important, and building a friendship is next. Only with that, then you know who I am, and whether whatever I introduce would strongly benefit you to help you make money online or just pure *BS*.

So, if you are reading this right now, and wonder why nobody in my list buys. Think again…

There are many ways to convert subscribers into buyers. He uses the autoresponders, upsell page, one-time offers and also membership sites.

That’s the main point in Joel presentation and I totally love it.

Next is Joe Girard! This man is the World’s No. 1 Greatest Salesman, and he sells cars till he becomes the No. 1 Car Salesman in Guinness Book Record. I have read his book many years back.

He got a total of 4 best-selling book. I only got 3 out of 4. I’m looking forward to get his 4th book today, but he’s not selling it at the event. Guess I have to order it online or buy from bookstore again.

One of the famous book is: “How To Sell Anything To Anyone”

One big takeaway is…

He truly love what he does. Not only that, why is he No. 1, is because he loves people. He actually tells you that “He Like You”, but send out well-wishes and greeting cards every month to your house. At one point, he’s sending out 16,000 cards every month to 16,000 household.

As long as you buy a car from him, you get his cards every month for life. Guess what he does in his cards, he have a referral program, where he offers you $50 cash if you bring your friend to buy car from him.

At one point, he got a right-hand man, and a left-hand man, to make calls and take down appointments for him. People literally queue up with ticket numbers, like going to see a doctor, and buy cars from him.

Can you imagine your prospect queue up in front of your office everyday with cash, just to wait for you to sell things to him? Who do you need to be to be that person?

People just love him…

That’s my biggest takeaway!

Not only that, he gives out his namecard all the time. Whenever he send out the cards, he would put at least 2 namecards, even thought that’s the 20th card so far. His philosophy is, you can help him to pass his namecard to your friends or family who’s thinking to buy a car.

And 98% of the people would, because he’s such a nice guy!

3rd Speaker is Adam Ginberg.

I have not heard about him until today. He’s famous for selling over $20 millions on eBay! He’s a eBay guy, and talks everything about eBay.

One big eye-opener today is that, eBay, is one of the most profitable market on the internet. Of course, I know about eBay. What I use eBay for is to do market research, get traffic from it to build my subscribers and that’s about it.

Adam open my eyes to the next level on the huge huge potential on eBay. Do you know that you can buy and sell properties on eBay?

Yes! Real estate, lands, house, and even houses with tenants in it. People actually buys and sell real estate on eBay. And you can make profits from $2,000 - $10,000 in 90 minutes. Now that’s something…

Of course, one thing I learn is that, the next time, before I throw away my thrash, I will definately considering selling on eBay. One example he gave…

A guy who buys a bottle of perfume $29, after finishing the entire bottle of perfume, he sold on eBay that “empty” bottle for… guess?
