I would thought that I cannot survive through 3rd day of the seminar, I glad I did. Even though I have been attending seminars for the past 8 years, I have never attended a 5 FULL days seminar.

However, as each day finishes, the message is getting clearer and clearer and I’m getting more and more energetic.

Before the seminar starts, the trainer was saying, “I should have attended this seminar 20 years ago”. And Harv says, if I would attend this seminar 20 years ago, I would be a millionaires many many many times over than now.

It’s that powerful!

On both the 2nd and 3rd of the seminar, we have a guest speaker. He’s not a ordinary speaker. I have never seen someone who’s so low profile, yet so powerful and specialized in what he does.

In a few simple words, I think he’s a very powerful person, with lots of wisdom, specialized knowledge and he’s the expert of the experts in his field.

Not only that, he’s a teacher to many many other great business man, marketers, speakers, authors and fortune 100 companies.

Some of the names that you might know are, Harv Eker himself, Jack Canfield (Chicken Soup for the Soul), Jay Abraham and Steven Covey(The 7 Habits of Highly Effective people).

I’m truly very blessed to have ever, in my lifetime, able to listen to him at least once! I’m really thankful for that, and I look forward to listen to him every single day.

So, who exactly is the gentleman?

As I mention, he’s really low profile, so you might or most likely never heard of him before.

He’s Joe Roberts, a communication specialized.

He’s the former prime time talk show host on KABC Radio, Los Angelas - The LARGEST and also the radio capital of the world.

Now that I took some time to introduce him to you, so that you have a good idea…

Let me talk about what I learn from him, I’m sure you’ll be more excited to hear that.

Right?

For the entire session, over 2 days, a total of about 7 hours, he talks about…

“The Language of Impact”

Personally, to me, his main message is that, in today’s world…

Every human being is at least bombarded with over 300,000 times of advertisement every single day!

Now, think about it, from TV, radio, road signs, billboard, bus stop signs, train signs, and etc… the list goes on.

Most importantly, because of that, we human beings are so IMMUNE to all these advertisements…

RIGHT?

Not only that, the attention life-span of everyone is getting shorter and shorter and shorter.

Television commercials used to work well in 30 second block. Today, if you see a TV commercial, newspaper ads, and all advertising media and if it does not grab you in 3 seconds, the ads have fail.

So, that’s the reality!

And the even bigger reality is, companies and businesses are still using the “common sense” method of advertising and wondering why are they not getting results for it.

In his 7 hours session, we have tons of fun, laughter and definately learning. As I mentioned, he have lots of wisdom, and he talks a lot of profound concepts…

which I’ll simplify here and hopefully convey the essence of the message to you. (Joe, I’m sorry if it didn’t deliver the true essence, it shows I still have lots to learn from you)

So, what’s the key secrets?

How to cut through all the clutter of the “Noise” in the world now that every human being is receiving?

How do you make sure your company message is reaching your targeted audience and attract them to do business with you?

Just by knowing this key secret alone, I know deep inside me, once I understand it and use it, it’ll stay with me for life.

Not only that, it’s going to generate me millions upon millions of dollars. It’s that powerful!

The key secret here is your USP (Unique Selling Proposition).

What’s your company USP? What’s your product USP? What’s your services USP?

So, what most people give, including myself?

We will state the SOLUTION we are solving for our clients.

That’s great! But does that really able to do the job of cutting through the clutter and grab your customer by the throat?

I don’t think so!

Let me ask you another question, “what comes before every solution?”

If you answer, PROBLEM! You’re smart!

Yes! That’s the correct answer! Before every solution is a problem. And why are you in business and what makes your business continue to be profitable?

Solving Problems to your customer!

Imagine if today the business you are in, it no more solve the problem to your customer, do you think you still have a business?

I would say a BIG NO!

For example, if the World Wide Web is down for any reason tomorrow, and we are back to Stone age, and the basic.

Do you think I still can survive with my website development and marketing business?

You bet!

But what do we always do, including myself, sell the solution to our customers… not even knowing if they got the problem.

So, if there’s one tip that you want to take away after reading this, is…

Think of the problem that your business is solving. State the problem upfront to your customers. And then state your solutions to your customer. I would strongly believe that…

you’ll see a huge increase in your business sales or revenue!

Why?

Simple, you are giving a reason for the customers to buy from you.

Think about that!

For all those that I have write and you have read, I would say it’s only the tip of the ice-berg of his 7 hours session.

There are many many different levels and layers in his entire message. I would say this is only the very first layers.

If there’s a chance for us to meet, and if you happen to ask me about it, I’ll tell you more.

But all I can say is… he blew my mind away! He open my eyes to new dimension that I didn’t know that it exists!

He’s a genius!

I’m really so thankful that he have something to offer to me so that I can bring back home, and to me, it’s invaluable.

He only does seminar ever since he started his consulting company. He didn’t have a product at all! So, I guess he decide to have one, and I’m glad that he did it.
So, in the end, I bought his 14 audio CD LIVE 3 days seminar recording and also 6 Tele-coaching class in Aug and Sep.

That to me is priceless!

I’m going to pop into my Ipod and listen on my short trip next week!

Just a final note, of course, I went up to shook his hand to thank him and took a photo with him.

    it’s not an easy to commit to sharing your posts on your blog every night after the event ended because i know from my own experiences that it can be very tiring after 12-14+ hours of seminar a day and to return home to be able to do something else other than resting/sleeping..

    great level of commitment you have there…

    I’m totally amazed by Joel Robert’s skill. He’s so genius that he can play around with words. Every sentences that he created is really got impact in it. Wonderful man.

    I’m so regret that I didn’t get his CDs, it’s just because my Credit card is over limit. haiz… I do not know where else I can get that.

    If you happen to know where I can get those CDs please let me know. :)

    Eh btw since you have it, can I borrow yours? or can you sell the mp3 to me… ? If you can, I’d appreciate that. hehe..:)

    I was there at GBI too (remember the Vietnamese coffee guy who went on stage?). You summarised Joel’s piece very well. He totally blew me away too!

    I still vividly recall how he started his session by telling us about the great turbulence he experienced at 35,000 feet. “From Manila to Mumbai, from Hong Kong to Hanoi, from Bangkok to Bangalore, Asia is shaking!”

    I had a picture taken with Joel on the last day too, however, it’s in someone else’s camera. I hope he does contact me!
