From my previous post, you would have came to know that I have recently sold out 3 slots of my 60 minutes consultation…

and I had done 2 out of the 3 consultation!

The first one I’m going to talk about is the very first person who took action right away and snap up the first slot. His name is Wong Chen Dong, creator of www.EmpireDotCom.com

This guy is amazing! I’m really shocked that he have taken up the first slot, and he wants my advice on how to improve his website.

When I first went into his website, I realize he got everything that he have, maybe even more than what I have got in my website, in terms of all the widgets and etc.

Nevertheless, he invested in me, and I start my homework!

You see, even though he invest $100 for 60 minutes of my time, but he got a lot more.

Before I really agree to meet him personally, I would need to do my homework first. I asked for a list of questions he going to ask and I will based on those questions to advice.

I spent about 1 hour to go through his entire website. Because he did not have a laptop and internet connection, so what I did was to print screen and print everything out in papers.

With that, I make circles, comments, and my notes on all the papers. So, in total, I guess I had a total of 10 notes or so.

Then, I spend another maybe 1 hour to travel to the place we agreed on meeting. The entire meeting was really pleasant.

I found a great environment, have drinks and started our conversation. I’ll not get into the details, but however, here’s are a few internet marketing tips I gave him.

** Based on what his website is at now, and where he wants to move to, here’s are the tips:

1) Branding - This is first and foremost if you truly want to build a 6 figure internet business.

2) Increase traffic by at least 50% to even over 100% - He just missed out this one element to get constant traffic everyday to his blog. And that’s how my blog is so popular.

3) Direction - Which direction do you intend to move into? Decide and start taking the first step! He’s on his way.

4) Increase subscriber response rate - How to increase your subscriber response rate by 50% to over 200%?

5) Leverage on your strength - This is something 80% of newbie marketer doesn’t know or do. Most of them focus on their weakness rather than strength. But, do you know your strength? I have pointed that out to Chen Dong during that session.

With that, instead of talking for 1 hour, we end up chatting for almost 2 hours.

And it took me another 1 hour to get back home. So, if you calculate, I took 1 hour to prepare, 2 hours to travel and 2 more hours to advice, a total of 5 hours.

And I only get paid for $100, is it worth it?

You bet it sure does! First, I need to tell you that I do not need to do the consultation. I don’t need the money! Period!

I’m doing because I want to do it and see who are the serious people reading my blog everyday.

And I can even offer free advice! But as I mentioned, there’s just something got to do with Free advice that people do not take it seriously.

Finally, the 5 hours are well-spent. I met up with an upcoming marketing, which I believe he is, I get to know a new friend, and I believe we might be working together on something soon.
