The entire trip was over 8 days, starting on the 8th of May. This was my 2nd trip to Sri Lanka and give food to the poor families. The previous trip was last September, you can read more here.

For this trip, there’s a total of 3 things I’m most happy about.

1) Celebrating Mother’s Day in Sri Lanka
2) My cousin contribute to distribute food to milk feeding mothers
3) Through the help of all my friend, we raise another 500 packs of rice & milk powder to give to another 500 more families food.

As the 9th itself was Mothers’ day, and instead of celebrating it in Singapore, I decided to plan a surprise party for all the 5 mothers in our group.

None of them knew about the party, except for my wife. The whole idea to let the mothers feel the joy, and secondly, is to let the orphanage have the fun of party, and also the happiness of chocolates, cakes and all the goodies.

Before the party starts, everyone was busy packing the goodies into bags, so each boy will get a pack. Note the boxes of goodies we bought this time in the background of this photo. We checked in a total of 28 bags and boxes this time, and the lady at the check-in counter was shocked.

So, once that’s done, the party begins.

I had already arranged to order a chocolate cake, and 5 roses for each mother in our group. So, you can see each boy holding a stalk of rose, waiting anxiously to give to the mothers.

Here’s a photo of all the 5 beautiful and compassionate mothers. The lady in pink floral is my grandmother, she already promoted to become Great-Grandmother since the day my boy was born.

The lady on her left, in black, is my mom. The lady in purple dress is my wife. The other 2 ladies, are my aunties. One of them is a grandmother, and the other is a mother.

So, all in all, we have 1 great-grandmother, 2 grandmothers, and 2 mothers in the photo.

All the boys and everyone were very happy. They were singing and the room was full of laughter. My grandma was so happy receiving the rose.

Next, the mothers helped to cut the cake to give to all the boys. Everyone was so joyful and happy.

For that, I’m happy, to see all the people there so happy.

The following day, we went to the area where we going to distribute the food to the milk feeding mothers.

We reached the distribution area the previous day, and everyone in the group was shocked to see mothers already queuing up at the gate.

And you know what? It was at least another 16 hours before we will start distributing the food to them. They were there with their young children, and have to stay throughout the entire night and waited till the next morning.

As I was back in my hotel sleeping, I was thinking about all those mothers waiting outside the gate. My heart just aches to think about it.

The next morning, we do our best to arrive as early as possible, and start the ceremony on time.

As you can see, people are breaking into the gate, and pushing to come in. For a start, we only allow the 100 invited milk feeding mothers to come in first.

Just within minutes, everyone was queuing up, waiting for the place to be ready and start the ceremony.

So, the first thing we want to do for them is to let them have a chair to sit. They have been standing up the entire night. Most of them would have been standing under the hot sun, carrying their babies, walking a few kilometers, and waited for hours.

They are really very strong mothers.

At this photo, you can see that I’m explaining what’s in the big white sack to my cousin’s and their family. It’s the same items that I had a photo on in the previous post.

All the invited mothers will get at least S$30 worth of food, including many food items, mattress, sarongs, medicines, fruits, water and etc. This time, they are very happy with all the items.

These 100 packs of food to the mothers was contributed by my cousin this time. They were very happy to see how much S$30 can be given to each family.

Once all the mothers are almost seated, we start to distribute the food to them.

Of course, my fortunate son helps to distribute the food too, and hopefully he will grows up to help more poor people than his parents.

As the 100 mothers were happily receiving their bags of food, they are at least 300 other mothers and poor people waiting outside the gate.

Last year, we only had about 200 extra packs of food to give to those uninvited.

This year, we had, over 500 packs of food, to be given to those uninvited mothers. All thanks to my friends in Singapore, and overseas. Without all your help, I would not be able to raise so many packs of food to give to them.

For those uninvited, we give them 5kg of brown rice (good quality), and 400 gm of milk powder (best quality), on top of that, 2 coconuts, and some other chocolate rolls we bought along.

Each pack was S$8, and as I share with my friends asking for help, many came forward to give whatever they can. Thank you so much!

Look at the long queue, we didn’t count how many people came, but we estimate at least 300 – 400 came. With that, at least anyone who came, didn’t go home hungry and empty handed.

All I wish is that the pack of food they receive can help to feed their babies, and even family for at least 2 weeks to a month.

Within just 2 hours, all the months of preparations, hundreds of people, and all the stacks of rice, milk powder, coconuts and food was gone.

But deep in my heart, and everyone in the group, we felt happy. We feel a sense of happiness, peace and calmness, and as I’m typing this post, and now in Singapore, I can truly say how fortunate I am…

Here’s why it is such a fulfilling trip to me…

1) Celebrated my son’s 1st birthday during the trip
2) Had fun with 40+ kids from an orphanage
3) Distribute food & milk powder to 100+ breast-feeding mothers

We left the country on 11th, reached Sri Lanka, and celebrated my son’s 1st birthday. Time really flies, just last Sep, here’s how my son look like when he was first born. After a year, he’s have grown up a lot.

Here’s a photo of his birthday cake. This cake weighs 6 kg. It can be easily baked in Singapore or any other countries, but in Colombo, from the cake shop, this is the largest cake they ever made. And I was very surprised and happy of the cute design too.

We bought a lot of goodies for the orphanage. This is the same boys’ orphanage which we have been visiting for years. For this special trip, we have bought extra gifts for them.

From the boxes you saw, here’s the list of items…

1) Pencil case, writing materials, exercise books for schools
2) Birthday party sets, and bubble blower for party
3) Biscuits, chocolates and lollipop which all kids love
4) Toy car, which all boys love
5) Custom-made brand new matching t-shirt and shorts for schools or outings

Here we are, busy packing all the goodies into each bag, so each boy gets the same items.

Of course, Darien is involved in the packing too.

The following morning, we celebrated my son’s birthday with all the kids. We had such a blast.

After the usual birthday song, blow the candle, cut the cake… the kids are excitingly waiting for their cake, and all the goodies bag.

Everyone had so much fun! My parents, grandma, and aunties and uncle had fun too. Of course, I could do the usual birthday celebration at home, but I know it’s more meaningful to do it in Sri Lanka. This is the 4th time visiting the place.

When my friend knows that I’m going to Sri Lanka again, their usual response would be, “Huh? Why Sri Lanka again? I thought you went there many times already?”

But to me, it’s different each time. Every time I went, I learnt more and more about the place, culture, people and also starts to become friends with them. In fact, the orphans know that we will have a party and they are excited to see us.

Also, I use it as a reminder to myself and hopefully my son, how blessed I am, in Singapore and with all the haves I got in my life right now.

The following day, we went to another rural area in Sri Lanka. This place houses many poor families. Most of them would only have a ten square meters mud house to live in. There’s no furniture, most of them would sleep on floors with newspaper. The roofs are made of coconut leaves. The worst part is they live near the safari, where elephants would go to their houses at night to search for food.

With that, incidents of families killed, or death or injuries caused by elephants is common in that area. As Sri Lanka is a developing country, with no television, movies, internet in that area, so baby birth is high.

So, baby suffers the most, with Mal-nutrition as mothers did not get enough to eat on a daily basic. Also, they did not have the basic like milk bottles, diapers, blankets, baby cots, baby pram and etc. Everything is to the bare minimum. Some babies are wrap in only cloths.

During this trip, other than celebrating my son’s birthday, plus all the joy of family vacation, I love to do my tiny part to make a difference in other people’s live too.

From my business profits, we would usually put aside 10% of the profits to give. Rather than giving to some foundations, charity organization, which a lot of times we don’t know where our money goes, this time, we chose something real different.

We are going to give 100 breast-feeding mother food, milk powder and necessities to last them for at least a month. Here’s a photo of the items…

All these items are put in a white bag…
1) 5 Kg brown rice for nutrition
2) 1 Kg Milk Powder (Best Quality in Sri Lanka)
3) 1 Kg Noodles
4) Salt and Sugar
5) Dahl (Their stable food)
6) Some spices
7) 3 coconuts

They weigh a total of at least 15 kg. Not only that, they have some other items too.

1) Mattress for them & baby to sleep on
2) Towel for their baby
3) Sarong, a cloth like clothing for them
4) A bag
5) Some chocolates we bought

Guess how much does all these items cost? All the items, excluding the chocolates and bag, is only SGD$30, only about USD$20.

So, my internet friend, if you think you got your first sale, from affiliate, adsense or your own product, and it’s only USD$10 or USD$20, think about it… it might not means a lot to you, but it can feed a family of mother and baby for at least one month to 6 weeks.

It’s a great reflection trip for myself too. How much just SGD$30 can impact a family in another part of this world? And many a times, we don’t even think about it and it’s gone in our wallet.

Ok, back to my sharing… here’s the place we have prepared for them, chairs for them to sit comfortably.

Here’s another photo of mothers with their babies queuing up. All 100 mothers are specially invited given their family condition and with a invitation letter. This photo you saw that they are queuing up, these mothers are not invited.

The ceremony starts at 10am, we reached the place at 9am. These uninvited mothers are already queuing at the gates. Note it’s a poor rural area, they don’t have money for food, let alone transport. Most of the would need to carry their babies to walk for at least 3km to maybe 5km or some 10km.

In just a few minutes, the chairs are filled and the entire ceremony starts. My friend who organized the entire event would explained to them what is this entire ceremony about… of course, in their language.

After that, it’s the moment they have been waiting for hours… they will be seated comfortably while we distribute all the bags and etc to them.

In just only 5 minutes and carrying about 20 bags of the 15kg big white bag, I’m already panting. I was thinking to myself, how are some of the mothers going to carry their baby, and also carry the 15kg load, plus all the mattress and etc.

But, if I’m that desperate, even if it’s 30km, I will make sure I walk home to be able to feed my baby. Big learning for me.

After the 100 invited mothers who are gone, now, how about those uninvited mothers?

From my friend who have done this many times, the experience is that, if you cater for 100 bags, an additional of 50, 100 or even 200 will come too. Because that area is really poor, and too many poor than just 100 of them.

So, what we did is to buy extra 1kg milk powder and some other clothes to them. So, with that, we bought another 100kg of milk powder. So, for those who are uninvited, at least they don’t go back home empty-handed.

With that, they queued up and in just minutes, everything was distributed away.

My friend told us we were lucky. Usually, from past experience, they would not have enough, and they have to chase them away. This time, we had some extras, so at least we don’t have to chase anyone away.

The most I get from this trip is to be thankful, and always be appreciative. I will never forget the smile, and the simple “thank you” from the eyes of the orphans and mothers. Some of them even come specially in front of me to shake my hand and thank me. Most of them are very shy and just give me their happy smile.

I’m really happy to be able to help to contribute to their life, and hopefully their kids too.

The entire giving ceremony lasted only 2 hours or so. However, it’s in my vision for at least 2 – 3 years. One day, I wished I could do that too. My wife, Michslle, had the vision to build schools and hospital since she was 14 years old.

She was so happy to experience that. In that area, my friend had built a hospital for the poor people in the area. Now, he’s stuck to get it going due to lack of funds. And you know what, the amount to get the hospital going is not a lot, he only needs SGD$30,000. Sure, thirty grands is not a lot, nor it’s not little too.

At least to me and my wife, it’s something we can aim for in the months to come.

With that, we went for our usual sightseeing and also resort tour during the rest of the trip. I had a good rest, great reflection trip, and great time with my family too. I’m really thankful and happy for this trip. It’s something that I will never forget.

Before we start to discuss what’s internet marketing, let me give you some opinion on, “What is Marketing?” It’s such a big word, and many a times, an over used word. Every businesses, companines on this earth needs marketing. Without marketing and sales, there’s no revenue into the business. If there is no revenue, then the entire business will go under, right?

You drive everyday to work, don’t you? If there is no more gas in your car, would your car able to take you to the next destination? So, marketing to any business is as good as gas in your car. In that case, what is marketing? Marketing is an exchange of goods/services (Look at donald trump book)

Now that you understand what is marketing, offline marketing is no different from online marketing. There are a few terms to it, internet marketing, online marketing, making money online, all I classified as the same category.

So, why is internet marketing both an art and science?

Simple, the main reason why is it an art, is because we are selling or market our products and services to human beings. And there’s one common thing that we all have… sorry, I don’t mean nose, eyes, body and etc. I mean everyone have a mind, emotions, and most important, a desire to want something in their life right now.

Let me ask you, “Do you have something right now in your life that’s lacking and you desire it so much? And 80% of the time, it’s not something that you need, it’s something that you want.” It might be your dream car, your dream house, to quit your job, to travel around the world, to lose weight, to be healthy, stay vibrant and you get what I mean, right?

So, when we are selling, we are selling to humans. We don’t sell to plants, animals, or even the wall, make sense? And why is it an art, is because we are dealing with all the human emotions in getting them to make a decision to buy. I’m sure you understand you are a complicated being, don’t you?

That’s why if you fail to make profit or your first sale when you start your very first website, don’t despair. Because in order to get another human to sit down in front of his computer, in another part of the world, reading your website and feeling all pump-up, with high emotions, trusting you and taking out his credit card, put in all his details and click on the “confirm” button, is not an easy feast!

The good news I discover is that marketing is a learnable skill. It’s not a talent, it’s not a gift that only some of the masters or gurus have, it’s a learnable skill, that ordinary humans like you and myself are able to learn. Guess what? It’s as easy as learning how to ride a bicycle.

At this moment, as you are reading this page right now, if I don’t get your attention for the first 3 seconds, I will lose you as my reader. Even if you find the title to be interesting, I have to make sure that my first paragraph interest you, my second paragraph and so on.

If along the way of my writing, I start talking about my dog, my cat, my cow that die last night, things you are not interested; I know you will not be interested and click away, right? So, before you start doing that, I will go on to explain why internet marketing is a science.

One of the main reason that most newbie marketer who fail is that they don’t do enough testing. “What testing?” You might ask. See, one of the reason I love marketing is that it’s predictable. Even though I mention that all humans are different at first, however, do you know that most of us think, analyse, make decisions and take action in a predictable way?

It’s a science mainly due to the fact that we can calculate in terms of numbers and figures how much you can potentially make for each product or sevices you are selling.

Let me give you an illustration here.

Let say I’m selling a weight loss product here, it’s an ebook teaching, “How To Lose 50 Pounds In 5 Days The Easy Way!” Do you think I have a ready market and buyers here? You bet.

Also, I would get about 50 visitors to my website every day. They are unqiue visitors, not repeat visitors. So, in total, in a month of 30 days, I would get 1,500 visitors, right? Ok good! Let’s assume that out of every 1,000 visitors coming to my website, I only get 1 order, what is the percentage over here? It’s 1 divided by 1,000, so it’s 0.1% conversion.

So, unless I start making changes to my website, in terms of design, copywriting, user experience and etc, I’ll forever get only 1 order every 1,000 visitors, make sense?

In order to increase that percentage into 0.5%, 1% or even 2%, you would need to do split testing. Split testing simply means to create another carbon copy of your webpage. From it, you change only one variation on the new copy, for example, the background color. Now, when the visitors landed on your website, the first visitor will goes to the first webpage, the second visit will go to the new copy, the third visitor will goes back to the first webpage, and so on.

What you will end up is 25 visitors on first page, and 25 visitors on the new page. As the month pass, you might get 1 order on the first page again, but this time, you get 3 orders on the second page. So what does this means?

It means that the new background color that you change is more appealing to the group of buyers who wants to lose weight. That’s it!

The conclusion to this is that it’s easy to make a decent income on the internet. Once you understand how to sell to the human emotion, give value in whatever you are selling, and start to test the variation, you will start to see the holy grail.

I have been running my own web business and also internet business for 3rd year running. I realize there are more and more courses, ebooks, softwares and tons more information teaching how to make money from the internet.

I used to coach when I first started, and personally, as a newbie, I was overwhelmed with tons of information too. I always say that today is NOT a lack of information, it’s a HUGE floods of information out in the internet. And if you wants to build an internet business successfully, knowing which information is junk and which is gold is critical.

You’ll be out of the game before you know it if you jump into every single millionaire marketer teach. I believe they are teaching the real stuff, however, the more important question to ask is, “Is the stuff right for me at this moment? How can this piece of information get me closer to my goals?”

As the first quarter of 2009 is coming to an end, and the whole economy is going haywire, inside me screaming and scolding for joy.

Let me share a bit more…

My web business is set to double this year from 2008, and my internet passive income is set to multiply at least 5 to 10 times by end 2009.

When I mean set, I mean it’s guarantee.

Just like my son is now 6 months old, by Sep 2009, he will be 1 year old. It’s guarantee! There’s no guesswork, or what if… right?

Come Sep, he will be and going to be one year old, and I would expect him to do things and action of what a one year old child would do. That’s the law of the universe! And if he doesn’t do things like a one year old, then of course I would be worried, other than that, he’s growing fast and on his path to reach his one year mark.

Now back to your internet business or internet passive income, how can you be sure and guarantee that come Dec 2009, it would be an certain amount that you desire?

That’s something I was firstly, very disturbed and feeling sick about, and secondly, all excited and like a little boy ready to explore further…

I was very disturbed and upset, as I see a lot of my friends, and peers who started off internet marketing with me, and not getting the results or the results that they want.

On the another side, I’m all excited and all ready to grow my business this 2009.

So, do you think having an internet business passive income is possible for you?

Personally, I believe you can do it.

It’s more than just the strategies, or what to sell, what product, which market, latest CPA network, latest traffic strategies, using YouTube, podcast or etc.

It’s none of those!

It’s more of who you are and your thoughts!

It’s using the power of your sub-conscious mind!

You might know that our conscious mind is only 17% of our entire mind, and the rest of the 83% belongs to the sub-conscious or non-conscious mind. So, it only make sense to tap into the power of our sub-conscious mind.

We were being taught to learn, and also use our conscious to achieve all the success, goals and dreams in our life.

We being taught in school on how to work hard for money, and not let money work hard for us. Same thing here, we were taught in school to learn from our conscious mind, and never taught how to tap into our sub-conscious mind.

One more example, we were being taught on how to gain knowledge, but we never learn how to profit or monetize from the knowledge we have.

I have such an awakening over the last 2 months when I found out this truth!

With that, I decided to re-learn, and unlearn all that I have been conditioned into. That’s why I’m confidence to say that I can achieve certain success in the months to come.

I strongly believe I can do it too, as I know thousands of other people are already doing it, as this is a God’s given gift in all of us.

So, if you still want to know the latest strategies to make passive income on the internet, I will give it to you in 2 days time.

However, I would strongly urge you to sit down, think back, and reflect the results you have today. Is it what you planned for? Is it what you expected? If no, then how can you do it differently so that it can be improved?

I have been working from home for 3 years running now. Not only that, I’m making more money working from home, having more freedom, and also have 100% control of my time, as compared to be an employee.

It’s almost 10 days since 2009 started! One of your goals, or new year resolutions, might be able to work from home.

Your reasons might be, “you hated your job so much, you just want to fired your boss!”

“You want your total freedom, 100% control of your life, rather than 9am to 9pm, being controlled and stuck in office.”

“You want to stay at home to take care of your kids.”

“You want to be able to feel secure, rather at the mercy of the next retrenchment program.”

“You want to…”

There will be tons of personal reasons why you want to work from home. I believe it’s really simple.

All you need is to decide, a plan and execute your plan. That’s all.

To Decide, is just about making a choice. Many a times, when we don’t feel good about making a choice is due to fear. And fear is just a perceptive and feeling, or rather an illusions that we created for ourself.

Next is to plan. And I believe with a well thought plan, it’s already 50% success! Most importantly, is to understand and calculate how much is your current expenses every month.

For my case, I have a house, a family, with kids, and bills to pay. So I have to put that into considerations. So, at least a 6 months to 1 year worth of expenses saving would be ideal.

If your monthly expenses is US$3,000, then you would need US$36,000 worth of saving before you might want to work from home full-time.

If I’m single, it would be much easier. I would maybe just need 3 – 6 months worth of living expenses. So depends what’s comfortable for you, and discussed with your partners if need be.

However, you can also considered starting a part-time business first, making that into a full-time income, before quitting your job.

I have friends who told me that, “Roy, you are so fortunate, you are able to work from home and enjoy the freedom.”

One thing they might not know is that, I have preparing myself, working on business after work for 3 years before I’m ready to start working from home.

Which means, I started to have an idea of working from home, 6 years ago, which is since 2003.

So, take baby steps, and I’m sure that you too can start making money working from home.

As I was writing this post, I was thinking of giving you something that I know is of excellent value to you, that you can use it and achieve your success in 2009.

This time, I’m took a video and a tour of it, so you can see more of it.

We have lots of good food, turkey, ham, sushi, wine, champagne, seafood, and many others. In short, it’s one of the best way to spend Christmas. Good friends, good food, wonderful scenery, the ocean breeze and choppy waters… it’s beautiful!

As I’m writing this blog once I got back home, I still can feel my house moving and having the after seas effects. Haha…

I’m really thankful, as the weather is perfect today. It was sunny and hot around 1pm to 3pm. Coming 4pm onwards, the sky gets cloudy and looks like raining. And guess what, we have a cloudy evening and no rain, and beautiful sunset.

A few of my friends recently was asking me where and what am I up to? Some of them was so curious, and some of them was waiting for some exciting answers from me.

My answer is short and sweet!

I’m busy with my baby!

Most of their eyes would almost pop-out, and some of them look as if I’m from outer space. It’s so interesting. I’m truly so busy with my baby for the past 3 months that I don’t have much time for…

1) My Web Service Business
2) My Internet Business
3) Friends Outing
4) Movies
5) and many others!

Almost everyday, I would be at home, almost 24/7 with my baby boy, watching him grow every single day and almost every single hour and minutes!

That to me is the biggest joy of all!

In fact, maybe you might not know, both myself and my wife have already waiting for this day to happen. Let me explain a bit more.

The reason why we quit both our jobs, “Just Over Broke”, in 2005, is so that we can start our home-based business and stay at home with our kids and watch our kids grow!

For at least the first 6 years of my kids life, I want to be with them. I want to grow with them, have fun and be in the moment.

And that’s why we created our entire web service business and also internet business in that manner, where we can work from home, make lots of money and have passive income working for us too.

We are so glad that it’s coming true and in reality today! Nothing beats that and enjoying the company of my baby boy.

Do I stop work totally?

Of course not! I cannot do that, I want to work, I want to be on my computer and I love to do that. It’s like fun to me.

The best part is that I have 100% control of my time. Total freedom! I choose when I want to sit on my computer, I choose when I want to play with my baby, and I choose when I go to sleep and what time I wakes up in the afternoon.

That’s my internet lifestyle.

With just a little work, like maybe only 2 – 4 hours a day, and I still have passive income over the last 3 months, that’s cool!

Is it a lot?

No! It’s not a lot, but it’s good enough for me to last 3 months, and increasing every single month.

The reason why I’m saying all this and telling you is not to brag about myself. I just want you to know that you can do it too.

It’s really simple!

Just a 3 steps process!

1) Declare Your Intention
2) Have a strategy and plan
3) “freaking” DO IT!

Most people that I met are really good at number 1 and 2, including myself. However, 90% of them would have a Mind Freak-out once it’s time to take action. It happens!

Personally, I strongly believe and I know it’s a fact that, In this information age, it’s really easy to start making money online, and I mean a lot of money, starting from 6 figures to millions of dollars.

Millions of marketers have already done so! And I believe 2009 is the time for you to do it too!

I always love the sea, and being on a LUXURY, oh my God! That’s a dream comes true!

See, the thing is that I love watching Travel and Living on Cable. A few of my favorite programs like “Richest Man In The World”, shows on luxury lifestyle, like yacht, resorts, big houses and fast cars. And I always love to listen to those rich people speak as they are interviewed on the program.

And the moment I heard about this opportunity I get to be on this yacht, I canceled all my appointments, I want to be on it!

Let me show you some quick photos on the inside of the yacht. This is what you will see when you first step into the interior of it. A 6 seater dinning table.

Follow by a L-shaped sofa big enough for 6 people, and a BIG Screen LCD TV.

This space alone is about the size of my living room space. And walk a few steps down, you will see this. A relax area with another LCD TV on the side.

Then next you can see another step down the lower deck. There’s a total of 3 decks on this yacht. So, follow me…

With a few steps down, you can see it’s a long hallway… and you can see 2 of this small single bedder on both sides.

Not only that, you get 2 such bathrooms within the yacht, and with a bath-tub on this one. Now, that’s what I like it…

With that, lastly… the master bedroom with a Queen size bed… This is really sweet!

You can see the space that this luxury yacht has… the total space is over 2,200 sq meters, now that’s 2 times the size of my apartment.

It’s as good as living in it. You have everything in it, including a kitchen with oven, fridge, sink to wash, stove to cook and even washing machine.

Which means, you can take this yacht and go for a 5 days 4 nights cruise to the surrounding islands and countries to tour around. Of course, first, you have to be able to charter for it, pay for the diesel and the skipper.

While cruising, I’m on the top deck most of the time. That’s the best way to enjoy the breeze, the sea, and of course the beautiful scenery of Singapore.

It’s really beautiful! The sky is slightly cloudy that day, but at least it’s not too hot and humid. Just the perfect weather to be out cruising.

I’m really blessed and grateful for this opportunity to be on this great evening. Not only that, the owner of this yacht is now my good friend, and I have reserved to charter this same yacht on Christmas itself. I was looking to get it on Christmas eve, if not, within the same week.

The only thing about this yacht is that while cruising, it only allows 12 people on board. So, this means that the charter I’m going to have is going to be only limited people. But while docking, it can takes as many as 30 people on board and still have plenty of space to move.

However, who would want to be on a yacht that’s dock in the marina and not cruising. So, I have invited my group of 12 friends and of course my family on board. We definately going on this yacht cruise this year, just not sure when is the day.

I promise I would be smarter this time to take a 3 – 5 minutes video tour of the entire yacht, and while cruising if I can, and show it to you. Video is so much better with photos here.

How Does That Link To Internet Business Or Even Your Own Business…?

The very first thing I learn from day one as a father is… I don’t know everything! Even though I do have my own paternal love, care and instinct, but what do I need to do as a father… I’m not trained in it.

That brings my memory back 3 years ago, when both myself and Michslle first started our business. We don’t know anything, in fact, we don’t know everything. All we know is our skills that we used in our jobs, as an employees.

So, how do we overcome these problems? Simple! The first thing, and that’s the fastest way to get results, is to ask.

These 3 letters words is the most powerful word I ever learned, Ask… but how many of us are being taught, or even encourage to ask questions.

At the back of my childhood memory is always being tease of asking stupid questions, and this leads me to sometimes fear of asking questions. Now that I know where does all these fear comes from, I’m more open to asking questions.

Now that you overcome the fear of asking questions. One more key important point that I’ll definately teach my boy is… You Must Remember To Ask The Right Person!

How many times in our life we make decisions based on the answers given by wrong person? For me personally, countless.

So, over the years, both in my business and now in my own parenthood, we learn how to ask questions and also ask the right person.

One very good example is that when my baby feed from mother’s breast, he tends to take his own sweet time. An average child breastfeeding time for both breast, maximum is usually 1hour. Darien would takes at least 90 minutes and sometimes he still not full.

So, we got very worried, and would think what’s wrong with him. With that, we decide to ask one of our friend who have experienced in breastfeeding. True indeed, it’s very common for newborn to feed for long time, and sometime, that will grow out of it.

The second I realize in that most business owners don’t celebrate enough success. What do I mean by that?

For example, a common one I always heard is that…

Let’s say you have been working hard either as an affiliate or on your internet business. You took 3 months, building up the system, driving enough traffic, and one day after all the hard work, you got this email!

Notification Of Payment…

What is your first reaction will be?

Most people that I know would say, “Sigh! Only one sales, after all the hard work!”

It’s just exactly what happened during the first week of our breastfeeding. Michslle is first time mom, and it’s her first time breast feeding. So, she’s very worried, especially not able to produce enough milk for the baby.

After attending all the pre-natal class, and also reading books, we know that for the first 4 – 5 days, mom would only produce a few drops of milk only.

True enough, during the 3rd and 4th day at home, Michslle only have a few drops of milk. She got very worried. However, I told her… “Wow! That’s amazing… you start to have a few drops of milk!”

Then on the 5th and 6th day, she started to produce about 10 – 20 ml of milk. My first reaction is, “WOW! 20ml, that’s many times improvement from the few drops!” And I encourage her and make her feel good and positive.

Today, after 2 weeks… guess how much ml she produced?

Easily 100 – 120 ml of milk!

Think hard… isn’t that true for your internet business too?

If you start celebrating your first sale, and say good things about it… most importantly, feeling the good and positive energy in you to push forward to take action, do you think making US$5000 per month online is possible?

Absolutely!

But, what most people will say when they only saw a few drops of milk?

“Huh? Only few drops? Forget about it…”

I still have many insights that I discovered and learned during this entire new journey of experiences.
