How is it like to be watching movie in a 6 figure home theater set-up…?

The answer…

Amazingly Awesome Great!

Check out some of the photo of the finish theater room… in a week or 2, I will show you the whole developmental stage that took 4 weeks. It converts from a workshop into this high-class, full 7.1 surround sound, top-line audio equipment.

The first photo here shows the lights on the wall and also the ceiling. What you see in the photo might be just tiny lights, but what you did see are that they are not ordinary lights. These are tiny transparent pins, called Fibre Optics, sticking out from the ceiling and there are hundreds of them on the ceiling. And when the room is dark, and you on the fibre optics, they are blinking, and with hundreds of them blinking randomly, what do you think they will look like…?

STARS! Right… they are really beautiful!

Next in the line is the BIG screen that’s mounted on the wall itself. You can compare with the person installing it, and you can estimate how big the screen is… I would guess it’s about 160 inches big or so. But, it’s HUGE, especially you are sitting so close to it.

The chairs that you see in the next photo are not ordinary chairs, not only do they reclined into a very comfortable position that you can adjust to, what is does also is, it is a…

BUTT Kicker!

So, what it means is that, when you watch action movies or horror movies or explosion screen in the movies, you will feel the chair shaking and moving. That’s Awesome! How it does is that it works with the bass, and when the sound gets to a low bass, it will create the shaking effects.

Finally, you see the proud owners of the home theater, Stephen and Alicia Pierce. And the keypad that’s bigger than a Sony 13 inches laptop is the touch screen control station for the home theater system. A bit more technical on that, the Touch Screen controls all the lights, the sound, the 400 DVD Disc changer, where you can select the movie that you want. There’s an additional disc player that plays Blu-ray disc. And also, the system is hooked up with XBox 360, which means you can play games with super dupa surround sound and big screen…

That’s any adult dream toy, man! Definitely it’s mine!

As of this writing, we probably have watch over 10 movies in the home theater, and it was really really a dream come true! One thing I asked Stephen is, “How long have you been dreaming of having a home theater like this?” His reply is…

Many years!

And I’m sure he does in many ways attracted this home theater over the years.

Stephen’s 3 Dogs…

Personal Stories No Comments

Stephen have a total of 3 dogs. They are Diana, Cesar and Gizmo. Out of the 3, I love Cesar the most. He is funny, playful and would be responsive to you when you play with him. Diana is one kind of character with his own. He would not be that responsive, he would want to do his own things and etc.

Now Gizmo is one hell of a bad dog. When Stephen bought him 3 years ago, the owner told them he was a tea-cup dog, which means he’s going to remain small, like a Chihuahua. Never did Gizmo did not become a Chihuahua, he have an attitude that you never seen in most dogs… and he even went to teach Diana and Cesar bad stuffs.

This Gizmo is so funny, but also a pain in the a**. He would bark at strangers, and make noise. One typical story is that, the dogs would love to pee to mark their territory. So, if Cesar would pee to mark a pole, Gizmo would pee on the same pole to over-ride Cesar’s pee. And Cesar would come along and pee back to win over Gizmo, this would drive Gizmo nuts, and they would keep doing that. And one day, Gizmo went on to pee on Cesar to mark Cesar as his.

I have never seen a dog that would pee on another dog to mark that dog as his territory. Now, that’s funny!

So, the first dog to present is Caser, followed by Diana, then Gizmo ( Bad Dog )!

This is my Dream Coming True…

Personal Stories No Comments

Oh Boy! Since young, I love to play with Radio Control cars, planes and helicopter. I still remember I will usually save up money to buy those battery operated ones. And when I was about 10 years old, I still remember having those sticker books, where you collect stickers for that page, you could exchange for items. And one of the items was a radio-control cars, in the end, with all perseverances and ‘strategies’, I finally got one of my radio control cars.

I probably have about 2 -3 radio controlled cars, and one plane. But, those are battery operated. I always wanted a gas operated ones, and those are really really fast cars, and the speed is like… FAST!

So, my dream is alway to own those gas operated cars, helicopter and plane. It’s not easy to one in Singapore, as they are usually expensive, and it does not make sense to me to pay $1000+ to buy cars, planes and helicopter where that money could get more education.

With that, once the cars arrive today, I was first one to open it and start working on it. Everything is ready, watch up for updates how we will do the first time we race.

Smart CashInjectionSystem is going LIVE…

Personal Stories, Roy Daily News No Comments

If you are reading this post and from SMCC or Stephen’s Coaching Program, you might have heard about the good news about Smart CashInjectionSystem, we are almost ready…

Just that, our lead programmer who’s installing the whole software have spend the last 3 days and nights, hours after hours, frustration after frustration on solving the errors. She have installed and re-installed the whole software for at least 5 times now. Each time, it would spend her at least 3 – 4 hours to delete and upload the files. And also, she want to push out to all SMCC students with error free and etc, so she wants to be make sure and be perfect about the system.

So, it’s does not always look ‘pretty’ on the outside, on the inside, at times, we do struggle to get things done too.

With that, he bought all the food and getting ready to cook, and of course, I’m both the camera man throughout the whole process and also helper… help to clean up.

As you can see, everything is hand-made by Stephen himself. At first, I do not believe he can cook, but looking at the way he chop the vegetables and prepare the patty, it’s starting to looks good.

After the patty comes out from the oven, it’s starting to smell good!

Here’s are the final steps and putting the patty on the oven toasted bread, as we are ready to serve and eat. I must say, it’s the Best and yet most ‘sinful’ burger I have ever eat. It’s really juicy and tasty, and it end off with a great movie for the night. It’s an awesome way to relax for sunday night!
