Today, YouTube is the place where every marketers would want to upload their videos and drive traffic from… however, do you know that there are many others videos site where you can get traffic from other than YouTube.

Video marketing works the same as article marketing. Do you just submit an article to just one article directory today? No…

… you would submit articles to as many top article directories as possible right? Then in that case, why would you market differently using video, by just submitting to YouTube?

Marketing is always the effectiveness of getting your message, communication to all your targeted customers, and the more the merrier. So, the next time you wanted to do video marketing, think marketing first! And search for other video directories to submit your video to, to get a wider group of targeted prospects to your website.

Here are some of the video directories that you can submit to:

1) Google Video - Google video is one of the best place for video marketing. Since it’s own by Google, it would definately be easier to rank higher in terms of keywords searches in Google search engine. This website, however, is a pain in the neck for advocates of free-speech. The guys at Google will review your clip to make sure it meets their standards and rules.

2) Eyespot - If you cannot tell the difference between JPEG and FLV, then Eyespot is the perfect video-sharing tool for you. This website is very easy-to-use as it shows you step-by-step how to upload and edit your files.

Not only that, Eyespot’s onsite editing features also let you trim the beginnings and ends of your footage, re-order the timeline and add music to your video. Just click away as you need to.

3) Veoh - This video site is more for pop-star wannabes! Veoh partnered United Talent Agency ( UTA ) to get talent agents to browse through it videos in search of The Next Big Thing.

It’s really simple to use, simply upload your clip onto the site and cross your fingers. Just note the market this video site is on pop-star, America Idol, and talents that sort.

4) iFilm - iFilm is great if you’re bored with working on your marketing of your own products or affiliate products, and want to catch the latest episode of Laguna Beach. iFilm joined forces with MTV to let you watch their latest programmes on the site.

There are dedicated video channels, and they screen random videos from selected genres. For instance, iFilm offers channels for anime and horror films.

Most importantly, you can send the footage directly from your website to Flickr, del.icio.us and MySpace.

5) Revver - Revver is one of video-sharing tool that pays you 20% - 50% of their advertising dollars if people watch your videos. And many YouTube’s top producers have switch to Revver instead, for example, the popular Lonelygirl15 comedy series.

Revver works very much like YouTube, like tagging and rating videos are also key features of the site.

So, next time you are going to submit your video just to YouTube, think again… how much more exposure and target traffic can you drive to your website, by submitting your same video to other video directories.

I was doing some testing on my Runescape project. That includes changing of my salesletter, looking forward to increase my conversions and also increasing my adsense earning from Runescape itself.

For the pass year, I knew that the keywords paid by Google on Runescape is very very low, sometime it’s less than 10 cents. So my strategy is to have lots of clicks to increase my earning…

Of course, what I can do is to do what all the adsense expert does… which is to research on high paying keywords. I personally know a friend who can make over S$2,000 in a month in just Adsense alone. So, if you see my results below, I still have lots to learn from him. However, the thing is I do not bet my online business just on adsense alone…

…this test is just to see how can I monetize more from whatever resources that I already have. And so far, it shows pretty good results… take a look at this:

I’m pretty happy of my test that I just took about 8 hours to put together. How do I do it? Simple!

If you go to my Runescape website, you will see that my main page is an optin page to give away 7 Secrets for Free. For the past one year, what I did was to give away the 7 Secrets in PDF which is the common standard for ebook. But I realize and get emails from kids saying that they cannot open the secrets and etc.

This makes me think on how to solve it. And I came up with this idea of converting the 7 secrets all into HTML and uploaded to my website… guess what… I surround and beautify the whole HTML site with adsense for the kids to click.

Once I’m done, what I did is to send a broadcast to all my list, which is over 18,000, for now… and in a day, that’s the results that I got.

If you calculate, for 18,000 of people, to get over 140, it’s not a lot. However, what I’m looking at is having at least 150 clicks per day, and that’s about additional $12 a day in adsense earning, and that’s over $360 in a month and about additional S$500 per month in income.

How’s that income for settling your car payment or home mortgage?

Hey friends,

Thanks for coming back to my blog and I would need your opinion for this blog post. As you might know that I’m having a product in the online games, Runescape niche. My target group are kids of about 8 - 16 years old, who love to play Runescape.

The main challenge is that they do not have the buying power to buy my guide, they would need to persuade their parents to do so. With that, not only do my salesletter have to let the kids see the value of my guide, but also to their parents too. You probably know that there’s a lot of ’scam’ in these online games industry, where marketers just put up a guide and start selling cheap. I personally do not like this model.

With that, I have surround myself with my story and my purpose on creating my own strategy guidebook. I have just finished the salesletter, and wish to hear some honest feedbacks and opinion from you.

So, it would be good to give based on the following:

1) Position yourself as a parents with your kids crazy about Runescape, would you buy this guidebook from this website? Do you trust it? Imagine that you do not know Roy Phay at all. Haha…

2) If you have young kids or nephew whose crazy about Runescape, I would be excited to hear about their opinion on the website and if it catches their attention and interest.

It’s been almost a year since the first day of UYMG, and after 4 solid days of seminar and over 40 hours of listening to all the gurus, it’s time to map out a plan where I can take action on what I have learnt.

Over the next week, I’m going to do a testing in one of the simple system used by most marketers. This system, if successful, is going to give me at least US$300 - US$500 profit per day. And this is the number that’s I’m getting excited about. So, what’s the downside of this?

Simple! The downside is that I did not profit from it, and only losing in terms of my time and money. But! I will not look at that way. To me, whatever I do in life, it’s all experiences. Experiences that will be with me for a lifetime. And every experience I go through is preparing me for another greater opportunity or challenges ahead.

Of course, I will not disclose as of now what’s my plan is, and what’s my system that I’m going to take. What you can do is to check back my blog again often, everyday or almost every other day to see how’s my results is. I will post my results on my blog, be it if it’s successful or needed improvement.

Who knows? It might be you that’s going to share some tips with me that makes my whole experiment a success.
